Williams, Arizona

We drove down Route 40 (old Route 66) along the northern top part of Arizona because we knew it would be a little cooler than driving farther south.  We stopped in Williams, Arizona which is a quaint, mountain town with a lot of cool Route 66 things.  We went in some cool shops.  One shop had small car model towns which was probably the heyday of Route 66.  We saw an old buick with dummies inside it, old gas stations, a route 66 themed cafe, a covered wagon and an old train.  We even saw Pete's Gas Station museum and we saw a blue car in it that looks like the sheriff in the movie "Cars"  After travelling down Route 66 so many times now, I will have to watch that movie "Cars" again and see if I notice anything in the movie.  This was a really cool town and we found when we stopped to gas up.  If you are ever in this area, this town is a good pit stop.
