Seaworld with the Rigerts
Our neighbors and friend from Winfield, the Rigerts came to visit California. Marina was best friends with their daughter, Abby. Marina bought Abby a Seaworld best friend necklace where they each get half of the necklace. It was very cute. It was good to spend the day at Seaworld with them and have lunch with them there. A cool looking bird was watching us when we ate. It was Dec. 30th but the park was still decorated for Christmas.

La Jolla Seals
Daphne's 12th birthday, December 15, 2012
I can't believe Daphne is 12. Next year she will be a teenager. She wanted a cookie cake for her birthday. Cake is upside down and I can seems to get it right side up.

Christmas Eve, 2012
USS Recruit, Downtown San Diego
I dropped Chano at the airport one day and I took a different way home and I came across this ship in a parking lot. So, the kids and I got out. It turned out to be the USS Recruit which was a model of a ship that was built in the 50's as a training prop for the Navy. It never actually sailed as it is not a ship. It was interesting though.
Oceanside Christmas Decorations
It didn't feel too much like Christmas with the California weather, but I did take some pictures of some of the Christmas decorations including the Poinsettas by the library and Christmas lights.
Christmas Celebration at Seaworld.
On Saturday, we went with our family and our cousin, Stephanie to Seaworld for the Christmas Celebration at Seaworld. They had a Snow World there with snow and a small sledding area. My kids miss the snow so I thought it would be fun. It was a beautiful day and the park was decorated for Christmas.
Christmas photo shoot at the Oceanside Beach
The girls got dresses from their Grandma Alicia and they got dressed and I took pictures at the beach for my Christmas cards. We went to the Oceanside Beach. You can see the Oceanside Pier in the distance.
